Four Tennis For Fun athletes recently competed in the 2019 Special Olympics North American Tennis Championship held at Hilton Head Island South Carolina. There were 148 special Olympic athletes from 11 states competing in tennis.
Bryan and Ryan Fisher competed in the highest level of singles and won all of their matches receiving gold medals.
Rodney Young competed in red ball singles winning all of his matches and receiving a gold medal. He also was awarded the sportsmanship award.
Bennett Hubbard competed in individual tennis skills. He earned a silver medal.
