Volunteer Opportunities

Tennis for Fun has been blessed with many wonderful and talented volunteers but there is always a need for more. Tennis for Fun operates entirely with volunteer instructors and with donated tennis equipment. If you would like to get involved, there are a variety of opportunities available. Tennis skills are not required. Volunteers are needed both on and off the court. One-time volunteers are welcome.

Some of the volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to: Tennis Instructors, Ball Tossers, Court Managers, Event Volunteers and Racket Stringers.

Start a Program

If you have been looking for an opportunity to give back to your community, starting a Tennis for Fun Clinic in your area may be the answer. Working with the athletes is an extremely worthwhile and fulfilling experience. In fact, our experience establishing the Tennis for Fun program has been so rewarding that we would love to help you start a program in your area.

You don’t have to be a tennis pro to start a program. The main prerequisite is a positive attitude! The other elements required include a location to hold the clinic and the ability to toss a ball. We can help you get started with the rest.

The most compelling reason to start a program is the benefit of the experience to the athletes and their caregivers. It is difficult to find fun activities that foster confidence and skill building while also providing an environment for socialization.
